What hardware do you use for the webservers?
We assemble the servers at The Internet Channel from top-of-the-line components, including Pentium processors, Seagate high-speed hard drives, and Intel 10/100MB ethernet cards.
What operating system are you running?
The server is running the latest version of FreeBSD, optimized for our particular hardare configuration. FreeBSD is binary compatible with BSDI, a commercial Unix operating system. If you wish to install commercially supported programs, it's likely that they have a version for BSDI. Please contact us before making any commitments.

FreeBSD can also emulate Linux, meaning that programs compiled for Linux can be run on properly equipped FreeBSD servers.
