Using vacation with procmail

Since we've moved to the new shell machine, the program vacation will not work if you try to invoke it from your .forward file. It must be run out of your .procmailrc . It's very simple to set up. Here's how:
  1. Put your message in a file called .vacation.msg
  2. Initialize your vacation database by typing at the shell prompt, vacation -i .
  3. Create a file called .procmailrc in your home directory. It should contain the following lines: 
    :0 c
| /usr/bin/vacation username
