Composer Ari Frankel ("Eureeka's Castle" and "Once Upon A Potty" videos) and children author and illustrator Alona Frankel have created an engaging and innovative children's album, "The Ocean Of Love".Available on music cassette or compact disc with accompanying coloring book, it offers clever, catchy songs for kids in a remarkable range of musical styles. The dozen original songs speak in the language of children - "Wipe My Nose", "All I Wanna Do Is Hug You" - but sing in the musical lnguage of adults. From the Beatelesque anthems and Brazilian samba to the Beach Boys like surf guitars and reggae, "The Ocean Of Love" is unusual in its appeal to both children and their parents.
Music and lyrics are by the award-winning [Ari] Frankel, who also contributes vocals to the album. Enhancing the album is the beautiful and distinctive cover artwork and delightfully illustrated book by [Alona] Frankel, who also has won awards from children's groups.
