Composer, writer and producer Ari Frankel's fresh and colorful songs and stories for children - including his work on the music and sound team of Nickelodeon/MTV's Eureeka's Castle - have won Parent's Choice and A.C.E awards as well as International TV & Film Festival of New York medals.A 1988 Grammy nominee with Suzanne Ciani's Neverland project (Private Music), Ari has scored many films, documentaries, commercials and also the popular Once Upon A Potty animated home videos, for which he composed songs and underscoring, and on which he also sings.
He has written extensively for theater (The Actors Studio, LaMama), dance (John Kelly & Company, Muna Tseng Dance Projects), film (Michael Apted, Richard Schenkman, Bonnie Palef) and for large contemporary classical orchestral forms. He has just completed scoring Simon & Schuster Audio's new R.L. Stine's Ghosts Of Fear Street audiobook series. The five part series has moving original music.
the ocean of love was the first release from Ari Frankel's own Child Matters/Baby Matters imprint. Other releases include the Freddy The Frog series, and future plans are in place for additional interactive multimedia, internet, book and game formats for all ages. .
