New Bedford is located one hour south of Boston and 45 minutes east of Providence.

From Interstate 195, take Downtown New Bedford exit 15 and proceed 1 mile on Rt. 18 to the "Downtown" exit. Turn right on Elm street, then left on Bethel Street. The Museum is on the left in the second block.

From Rt. 6, turn south on Sixth Street in New Bedford, then make a left on William Street and a right on Johnny Cake Hill.
